Crash Course pt. III: Socialism & Oppression

by | Aug 28, 2021 | Spotlight

The Maine chapter of Democratic Socialists of America has put together an introductory crash course series on socialism and how it interacts with various topics. This is a program built to encourage everyday working folks to step up, do research, and lead groups in learning and discussion. Pine & Roses has previously linked to the first two courses, and now proudly shares with readers Part III of the series: Socialism & Oppression. This discussion was led by Isreal Mosley. It was taped on July 26th, 2021 and uploaded for public viewing on August 8th, 2021.

Isreal Mosley is the first Black Chair of the Waterville Democratic Committee and serves as the Kennebec County Democratic Committee's Subcommittee on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. He is a member of Racial Equity and Justice and serves on the steering committee for Maine Equal Justice Partner's Shared Vision project.
